 Sara Rue Net Worth: Sara Rue is an American actress with a net worth of $1 million. Born Sara Schlackman on January 26 1979, in New York City, New York and made her TV debut in 1990 on NBC sitcom Grand in which she played the self-confident and well-adjusted daughter of a single mom (Pamela Reed). Her film debut was in Rocket Gibraltar as Jessica Hanson (1988). She appeared in many television shows from 1988 to 2012. Rue was a prominent character on the big screen starting with her character as Earth Girl as a ranting activist, in Can't Hardly Wait (1998) in addition to a major role in the dramas A Slipping Down Life & A Map of the World. Rue was a nurse in the 2001 summer blockbuster Pearl Harbor and later that year starred in her first film debut Gypsy 83, playing a young woman who idolized iconic and eccentric pop rocker Stevie Nicks. Rue was cast in 2002 as Claude who was a young woman in corporate ladder-climbing and the ABC sitcom Less Than Perfect.
