Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter born in Mexico was born to the music-loving parents of her family. The majority of her youth listening to classical music and boleros of the past, ranchero traditional or romantic tunes along with older classical songs. Ana is a lover of the opera and tango genres as well as every form of dramatic performances. She began singing and learning songs with her mother then began more intense training in singing when she was 16 with renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. She continued her musical training at the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young musician and student. Following her move from Mexico to the United States around 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She's a frequent solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions singing traditional Latin American Music. The passion and love she has in music, art and performing keep her engaged with many local organizations as a performer and teacher. Ana is also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for being able to share her love and passion of traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to impart a desire to, particularly in the younger age group in order to keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
